Over 50 years of international education in Barneveld has not gone unnoticed. Often newspapers sent reporters to special occasions and new developments were reported in the media. On this page we included some features from newspapers and other forms of media.

 Speech from the mayor 

In 1986 the school celebrated its 25th anniversary. The mayor, Mr. C. W. Labree invited some of the foreign teachers to the city hall, where he spoke to them. newspaper from Barneveld from the 15th of November in 1986 

Introduction

In 1987 a so called ‘landendag’ was hosted, where the residents of the town were able to meet the new students, who introduced themselves with music and instruments.

“Christmas at the Castle,
in Kenia and in Casablanca”

In December 1989 the newspaper from Barneveld published an article about the foreign students spending Christmas at Castle The Schaffelaar. The students shared how Christmas is celebrated back home. 

Barneveld Letter

The school also produced its own newsletter that was distributed all over the world. In the picture you see an edition of the Barneveld Letter from May 2001.
